We define excellent improvement as at least 75% lowering in overall psoriasis severity. Severity is measured as a score using multiple criteria, such as the amount of skin covered, amount of scales, thickness of spots and redness. This score is called PASI (Psoriasis Area and Severity Index). For example, if you took a treatment and your psoriasis improved by 75% (or more) on PASI, you would have achieved excellent improvement.
